We usually meet Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta after they have already become the children of Fatima. This Little Treasure goes the other way. It asks who they were in Aljustrel before anyone knew their names: two families, real work with sheep, games and dancing, little schooling, and an ordinary Catholic childhood.
The famous photographs came later.
