At Lourdes the first thing that happened was not a speech. It was a rosary.

Bernadette took out the only prayer she had by heart. The Lady passed her own beads and did not hurry a child who could hardly breathe. In the country around the grotto a sixth decade was sometimes added for the dead. Some statues still show six.

This little book will not scold your five-decade pocket. It asks only that the beads be allowed to take the time they take — and, if you have breath left, that you go once more round for someone who has none.
