Silent Homilies
offers quiet reflections, little-known Catholic treasures, and short books meant to be read slowly.
Here you will find words that do not shout, but gently accompany the soul.

“God is the friend of silence.”
— St. Teresa of Calcutta
What you will find here is not more noise.
Only a few carefully chosen words, offered without urgency, for those who still know how to listen.

About
These pages grow out of 17 years of priestly life.
They come from hospital corridors and quiet rooms, from parish courtyards and long kitchen-table conversations. They come from standing beside people in moments of deep difficulty, and also from sharing ordinary days filled with good laughter, unexpected tears, and the slow discovery of what life really looks like when it is lived honestly.
I have learned far more from the people I have accompanied than I have ever taught them. Their stories, their questions, their silences, and their courage have shaped these reflections more than any book.
What you will find here is not high theology. It is something simpler and, I hope, more familiar: the attempt to speak about God in the language of everyday life — the same language spoken by the people among whom I live and work. My only real intention is to bring the reader a little closer to the One who is everything to me, and who remains quietly present in the ordinary places where most of life actually happens.
These words are offered without urgency and without pretence. If they can sit beside someone for a while, and if they can make the presence of God feel a little nearer, then they have done enough.
